Kelly Services appoints Director of Specialist Divisions

Leading recruitment agency, Kelly Services, today announced the appointment of Stephen Shepherd as Director of the Kelly Services Professional Technical and Staffing Alternatives (PTSA) Division, reporting to the General Manager, Australia, James Bowmer.
Mr. Shepherd will build upon the global strength of it’s PTSA services and oversee the growth of the Australian specialist employment divisions including Kelly Engineering Resources, Kelly IT Resources, Kelly Financial Resources, Kelly Vendor Management Solutions and Kelly HRfirst - Recruitment Process Outsourcing.
Globally, Kelly is a leader in Human Resources Outsourcing and was ranked second in HRO Today’s top 15 Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) providers for 2005.
Kelly Services Australian General Manager, James Bowmer, said “Stephen will bring experience and enthusiasm to this new role to further expand our specialist divisions and meet our organisation’s strategic goals.
“This is an important step in our strategy to increase the depth of service we can offer the customer by not only providing generalist recruitment, but also placements in specialist areas using the industry expertise of qualified consultants”.
Mr. Shepherd, also President of the Recruitment and Consulting Services Association, has worked at Kelly Services for 15 years where he has held numerous roles including State Manager, Director of Sales and Operations, and most recently Eastern Australia Regional Director.
“Stephen is a leader in our industry and with years of management and sales experience as well as an intimate knowledge of the organisation. His leadership will be play an important part in our goal to lead the growing specialist recruitment market in Australia,” Mr. Bowmer said.
Mr. Shepherd said he is looking forward to the challenge of such a dynamic role and contributing to the future direction of the PTSA division and Kelly Services.
