Interactive hub to provide solutions to business recruitment

2 April 2007

Kelly Services, has launched an online interactive forum to allow businesses to source information and answers to questions about human resource outsourcing.

The HRO Hub will allow HR professionals and executives to canvass issues about HR outsourcing including the benefits, risks, costs and the various models employed by organisations in Australia and internationally.

The HRO Hub was established following a series of consultations with business by the Kelly Services Outsourcing & Consulting Group.

Director of Kelly Services, Stephen Shepherd said that many organisations are looking at the role of human resources in shaping overall business strategy, but many do not have the expertise or the understanding to deliver it.

“A critical issue for any business is to decide what they are best positioned to deliver, and what can be delivered more effectively by outside organisations.

“With unemployment around 4% in most states, it is increasingly challenging to locate future employees – especially to find the person who is not looking for a job,” Shepherd said.

“From our discussions with business, we discovered a lot of misconceptions about human resource outsourcing programs and what they can deliver.

“It was clear that there is a distinct need for more information and tools to help
companies make informed decisions about whether an HR outsourcing program is right for them.

The HRO Hub is an online interactive forum where it’s possible to pose
questions and access Australian-specific information and tools around Human Resources Outsourcing including:

- Recruitment Process Outsourcing
- Vendor Management Solutions
- Managed Services
- Customer Tailored Models
